It has been a true blessing for the John P Previti Memorial Foundation to have the ability to reach out to those in need, especially local organizations and the opportunity to be a part of breakthrough movements including unique research and treatments. Established in 2015 in his memory, The Brett Tashman Foundation’s goal is to specifically provide funds for research to find a cure for Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor (DSRCT), a rare type of sarcoma.

Recently this July, the non-profit charity had their Inaugural Brett Tashman Foundation Golf Tournament and it was a huge success! The John P Previti Memorial Foundation was overjoyed to have been a part of their journey to finding better treatments and ultimately finding a cure.

“The event raised more than $31,000, every penny of which will go to doctors at MD Anderson Cancer Center researching DSRCT, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. This is where Brett was treated and they are on the cutting edge of medical breakthroughs and technology. As I mentioned, this donation is specifically earmarked for DSRCT research, so it doesn’t go to an admin fund, but is truly assisting with ending this rare cancer. Can’t thank you enough for your donation! It truly makes a difference!” – Josh Levitt
