Foothill Family Shelter is Transforming Lives

Foothill Family Shelter

The John P. Previti Memorial Foundation understands that families can experience the unexpected and find themselves falling on hard times without anywhere to turn to, that is why we recently donated to a local organization which opens its doors to those families in need of shelter, food and resources. Foothill Family Shelter is a nonprofit organization which houses homeless families with children for a period of up to 120 days, free of rent and utility charges. They also provide one-year transitional housing as well as permanent housing. Foothill Family Shelter goes beyond providing the basic necessities by introducing Children’s Enrichment Programs, Employment Services, Case Management and Therapy, and as well as working within the community by offering Parenting Programs.

“The support from John P. Previti Memorial Foundation is invaluable. Foothill Family Shelter has been serving homeless families since 1984 and this funding supports such a critical aspect of our program. Comprehensive services such as case management and therapy ensure clients are stable and prepared to successfully exit our program. We transform lives every day and our work wouldn’t be possible without community partners who believe in our mission and invest in our program.” – Megan Nehamen, Co-Executive Director
